Tired of the same logon screen? This option will give you the ability to change the background to whatever you want.
First, browse to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background from within Regedit.
Double-Click the DWORD key called OEMBackground (if is not there, create it) and set its value to 1.
Next find a background image that you want to use.
Make sure its less than 256KB in size, and matches the aspect ratio of your screen as it will be stretched to fit.
Copy the image into the %windir%\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds folder (create the info\backgrounds folders if they don't exist).
Rename the image to backgroundDefault.jpg
Reboot the computer and you should now have a custom logon image.
