This is for Internet Explorer problems timing out when used on posts on blog sites. It may occur with Internet Explorer versions 8+ on other sites as well, especially if it's waiting for a page or request to load. This is added on some Microsoft install apps from microsoft.com to prevent the possibillity of the installer getting stuck.
The Installers set a timeout key in the registry, for the fix do the following.
Click the Start Menu Icon.
Type Regedit and press enter.
It is usually located at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings].
In the left pain browse to the above location.
In the right pain the key is "ReceiveTimeout". Delete this key and it should end the Internet Explorer timeout problems.
