Enable And Disable User Account From Command Prompt In Windows 7 And 8 Any Version

There may be times when you want to disable or enable the built-in Windows accounts or do the same for a regular user account. In that case do the following.

In the start box type cmd.exe.
If you are not using an elevated administrator account right click cmd.exe and select "Run As Administrator" and then enter the Login Information.
Then press enter, the cmd prompt opens.
At the cmd prompt type Net user Administrator /active:yes or no (depending on if enabling or disabling the user), then press enter.
In our case we used the Administrator account. It can be any account on your computer.
To activate the user:

Windows 7 or 8 Active User Cmd Prompt

To disable the user:

Windows 7 or 8 Disable User Cmd Prompt
