There is a hidden functionality in Windows that allows you to right click on a file, select Copy To Folder or Move To Folder, and the move to box will pop up and let you choose a location to either copy or move the file or folder to.
Here’s the registry hack to get this working. As usual, first you should back up your registry just in case. You will then want to browse to the following key:
Once you are at that key, right click and choose the New Key option.
Then rename the new key 'Copy To'.
Next in the right pane double-click on the (Default) value and enter the following:
Click OK to continue.
If you want to enable the Move To option too, you will repeat the same steps as above, except creating a new key named Move To, and using the following value:
Now when you right click on a file or folder, you should see the following options:
Now that you see the concept of how the 2 features are added to the explorer right click menu. You can Install these features with a click or 2.
Just download, unzip, and double-click on the registry files. You can choose to use the copy to, move to, or both.
There is also remove registry files to remove the features if you later choose to do so.
You can download the zip file containing the registry files here.
